Chicago based artist, Tom Benko is a teacher and performer exploring electro-acoustic percussion, ambience and curated peculiarity. He has worked with Blue Man Group, Chicago Bears Drumline, Chicago Bulls Percusion Ensemble, Minor Characters, Kevin Presbrey, Greg Hyde and Sam Rae and has released multiple albums including his latest album, 'Rodina' in 2019. He hosts an ongoing bi-monthly music series called Emanation at the Deagan Music Building. Tom is known in the Chicago music community as an innovative educational percussion artist.
