Tom Benko studied percussion performance at Northern Illinois University under Robert Chappell, Greg Beyer, Liam Teague and Cliff Alexis and has been teaching and performing for more than 15 years. Tom has been Director of Percussion at Marengo, Lake Park and Maine South High Schools leading classes, directing their percussion ensemble and providing one on one lessons with students. His diverse performance experience includes drumming for the Blue Man Group, the Chicago Bulls Percussion and the Chicago Bears Drumline.
